Admitted to the Bar in the State of Colorado in
1976. Admitted to the Bar in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado in 1987. Admitted to the Bar of the United
States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in 1989. Admitted to the Bar of the United States Tax Court in 1983. Admitted to the
United States Claims Court in 1990.
Nature of Practice
Larry D. Harvey, Esq. has been a sole practitioner since 1987. Prior to this
time he practiced with a medium size law firm in Denver, Colorado and as a partner in a small specialty firm. Mr. Harvey's practice
emphasizes matters involving federal income taxation, corporate planning and other business related matters.*
Credentials
Prior to admission
to the Bar in the State of Colorado, Mr. Harvey served as a Summer law clerk at the law firm of Berenbaum & Weinshienk and as a law
clerk for certain stock brokerage firms located in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Harvey has been a speaker at numerous continuing legal education
programs. He has also been qualified as an expert witness in matters of taxation and corporate law. Mr. Harvey graduated from the
University of Colorado School of Law, with a juris doctorate degree in 1979. He was graduated from the University of Denver, Graduate
Tax Program with a Master of Laws and Taxation in 1982. He received a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Colorado in
May, 1976.
Clientele
Mr. Harvey represents numerous closely-held corporations operating in the Western United States. He also represents
several local lending institutions.
