Mel Andrew

Biography:
Mel Andrew has a Bachleor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an
MBA from the University of Illinois. Mel has lived in Colorado for 40 years and has resided in Clear Creek County for 27 years.
Mel
is retired from various marketing positions with General Electric and Public Service Co. of Colorado.(now Xcel Energy)
Mel is very
active in mountain issues and highly respected by community leaders for his vision and environmental efforts.
Mel is President of
the East Mount Evans Recourses, Growth, and Environment (EMERGE), an organization that represents approximately 900 families in Southeast
Clear Creek County, and is Vice-President of Land Preservation and on the Board of Directors of the Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT),
a Land Trust operating in Clear Creek, Park and Western Jefferson Counties. Mel is very active in his Church and a member of the Clear
Creek County RepublicanParty Executive Committee.
