Steve Schultz
Executive Director
Biography:
Mr. Schultz has an extensive background in electronics and electrical
engineering
from U.S. Air Force schools, Northwestern Bell Telephone and
Telegraph, and Coors Brewing Company. For the last fifteen years he has
worked
as an electrical engineering designer for Coors Brewing Company in
Golden, Colorado where he is responsible for the documentation and
design of
electrical power and controls for high speed automated aluminum can
manufacturing. Steve also holds a Certificate in Management
from Regis
University in Denver, Colorado.
In addition to his duties as Executive Director of the Arapaho Project Mr.
Schultz is currently
Vice Chairman of the Clear Creek County Planning
Commission, Chairman of the Clear Creek County Republican Party and
Secretary for the
Colorado State Republican Party. A strong advocate for
professional, well educated military officers in the future, Steve also
serves
on U.S. Senator Wayne Allardıs academy screening board which
interviews high school students for appointments to the four service
academies.
Mr.
Schultz is also a retired Naval Reserve Intelligence Officer. He served
for five years in the Cheyenne Mountain AFS Joint Intelligence
Center as a
space systems and missile event analyst and eleven years with the Office of
Naval Intelligence as an analyst in anti-air
warfare and naval strike
warfare with collateral duty as regional PAO (Public Affairs Officer) His
Navy career includes participation
in two Global War Games at the Naval War
College in Newport, Rhode Island where he served as the Red Cell Air Warfare
Deputy Commander.
Mr. Schultz also planned and participated in several
briefings by Naval Reserve Intelligence Officers for members of Congress. A
graduate
of numerous U.S. Navy courses Steve was actively involved in the
study of emerging technologies, including high energy physics, which
led
